Edward Murray
Edward Murray is a freelance financial journalist who writes for national, trade and consumer titles, contributing regularly to publications including The Scotsman, Mortgage Solutions, Post Magazine, Cover and Professional Broking. He also provides corporate copy writing services to a number of mortgage lenders, brokers, financial industry bodies and PR firms. Before moving to Edinburgh in 2005, Edward had lived and worked in London since 1998, where he was the senior reporter on Post Magazine and then Deputy Editor of Mortgage Solutions.
Laura Howard (formerly Laura Brady]
Specialising in mortgages and property, Laura Howard is a regular contributor to the Independent on Sunday, Guardian Unlimited and a range of consumer and trade titles including Moneywise, What Mortgage and Lending Strategy. She also works one day a week as a freelance editor for Moneyextra.com. Laura is also the author of kitsch teenage finance book, A Girl’s Guide to Money. Having been published in the USA in 2003, the title will be sold in UK book shops from August 2007.
Scott Philipson
As a former editor of the leading weekly trade magazine title, Mortgage Introducer, Philipson has worked in financial services for four years. As editor he wrote extensively on all mortgage and financial services issues and was responsible for all editorial content. Philipson currently writes and edits Mortgage Introducer’s regular supplements and is also responsible for the editorial content of a major network’s in-house magazine. He also writes for Niche International Property Adviser and a variety of corporate clients including a number of top ten lenders.
Rob Griffiths
Griffiths is the ex-Associate Director of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) and former editor of Mortgage Introducer magazine. He has worked in the financial services sector for 8 years. He has written extensively for a wide variety of trade titles including Mortgage Solutions, Niche Mortgages, Mortgage Distributor, Money Marketing and Financial Adviser. He currently has a regular weekly column in Mortgage Strategy and writes for a range of corporate clients including major high-street lenders, specialist lenders, packagers, mortgage clubs and compliance consultants.
