White Dragon Communications was established in 2007 by Director, Rob Griffiths, and has quickly become one of the leading PR agencies in the world of financial services.
Its core principle is to deliver quality coverage for its clients across a range of media and to ensure widespread understanding of its clients’ brands, their proposition, services and product offerings.
White Dragon delivers targeted communications and PR support, plus it is active in helping shape and deliver marketing strategies, providing a copywriting service and offering an editorial outsourcing service.

Rob Griffiths, Director
Rob is the Director of White Dragon Communications and established the agency in 2007. He manages a number of client relationships at White Dragon and is also responsible for securing new business and ensuring a high quality service is provided.
Prior to setting up the business, Rob was the Associate Director of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) and former editor of the mortgage trade title, Mortgage Introducer.
In one way, shape or form, Rob has been involved in financial services for the past 15 years.
Rob is widely known as a ‘professional Welshman’ and his heroes are Max Boyce, Gareth Edwards, Shane Williams and Ruth Madoc. Rob is happily married with two young children, Grace and Tomos, and therefore has no personal life to speak of.
Barney McCarthy, Account Manager
Barney is Account Manager at White Dragon Communications after joining the business in December 2011. He is responsible for a number of client relationships and also works across all White Dragon’s client base.
Prior to joining White Dragon, Barney worked as a journalist for a number of trade and consumer mortgage titles including Mortgage Strategy, Mortgage Solutions, Mortgage Edge and Your Mortgage.
He joined White Dragon after an 18-month stay in Australia where he was editor of Mortgage Professional Australia.
Barney is a keen marathon runner and widely thought to be the fastest man in the industry. He insists on racing all clients each year over the jumps at Aintree and has yet to be beaten. Barney is happily married with no children and therefore has a rich and varied personal life which he is happy to talk about at length.
